SFI Park and Garden

The gardening sector requests skilled labour! Many immigrants have experience but not the language and specific knowledge of the plants in our Swedish climate.

SFI Park and Garden is a way for us to provide the industry with competent staff while we contribute to working for the global goal 8.5 which will contribute to full employment and decent working conditions for all women and men, young people and people with disabilities, and equally salary for equivalent work.

This training is a collaboration between Boodla, Skillebyholm and Botkyrka municipality. Together, we offer participants the opportunity to attend Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) integrated with gardening education.

It is a one-year course located at Gula Villan in Alby. After the course, students can apply for jobs within municipalities, private companies or at cemetery management.
